Identity & contact: name, email address, telephone, postcode, project address.
Project information: description, photos and measurements supplied for quoting.
Correspondence: emails, text messages and call notes.
Technical: IP address, browser type and basic analytics on page use.

3. How we use it

Responding to enquiries and producing written quotes (lawful basis: legitimate interest / contract).
Delivering and invoicing for agreed work (lawful basis: contract).
Meeting legal, tax and insurance obligations (lawful basis: legal obligation).
Improving our services (lawful basis: legitimate interest).

4. Who sees your data

We never sell your data. We share it only with:

Members of the Philbert Construction team working on your project.
Specialist subcontractors (electricians, plumbers) when required for the agreed scope.
Our accountants and HMRC where legally required.
Our website host and email provider acting under written processor agreements.

5. How long we keep it

Quote enquiries that don't proceed are deleted within 12 months. Client records (contracts, invoices, project documentation) are retained for 7 years to meet HMRC and insurance requirements, then securely destroyed.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data, correct it, ask us to delete it, restrict or object to processing, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
